What is included in the monthly subscription?
SimpleSUB Water’s monthly service fee includes cellular connectivity, real-time monitoring, access to the SimpleSUB Dashboard, a 5-year warranty, and lifetime data retention.
Will SimpleSUB water submeters work on my building?
SimpleSUB clamp-on water submeters are compatible with pipes made of: copper (Type M & L), PVC (Schedule 40), CPVC, and PEX. If you need help determine what pipes are in your building, please contact our sales team.
Why cellular instead of wifi?
Our submeters connect directly to the strongest cell tower in your area, ensuring secure and consistent data transmission without requiring Wi-Fi. Cellular connectivity simplifies large property installations by eliminating the need for a reliable on-site network, repeaters, gateways, and other hardware.
How is the SimpleSUB clamp-on water submeter installed?
We send an installation kit with everything you need to install your submeters. Clean the pipe, attach the submeter, and press the button.
How does SimpleSUB Billing work?
When you receive your water utility bill, enter the details into our web app to allocate the costs to your tenants based on their actual usage. Send invoices directly from our web app, or export a detailed breakdown into a spreadsheet.
